Our Unique Dome Structure – Glamping in Comfort and Luxury.
Visitors to Dome from Home immediately notice the size and distinctive architecture of our domes Butterfly and Bumblebee. Their design, whilst striking, perfectly blends into the natural surroundings and provides exceptional comfort for guests glamping at Dome from Home.
Inside guests enjoy a master bedroom with large double bed and a fully equipped bathroom with toilet & rain shower. Each dome also has a kitchen with hob, a living area and a second bedroom for three people.
The interior design balances modern chic with the natural surroundings. Each dome is equipped with high-quality furnishings, fleece bedding, and modern amenities, ensuring a stay that is comfortable and indulgent. For chilly evenings, the domes are fitted with Daiken environmentally friendly heating, fleece bedding and lots of extra blankets, adding to the cozy ambiance.
Each dome has a TV and WiFi, ensuring your dome glamping experience has the luxury and feel of a “Dome from Home”.
Well behaved dogs are also welcome at Butterfly dome (please see T&Cs for details).
Dome glamping with your own wood fired hot tub and BBQ.
Outside, the large south-facing decking provides a sun trap. The wood fired hot tub is close by and available for an additional charge. Robes and a plentiful supply of wood are provided in the hot tub package.
A great hot tub experience is key to glamping, as it provides the space and time to unwind. At Dome from Home your Kirami hot tub comes from Finland (where they know about hot tubs!). When guests arrive the fire is alight, and the water nice and warm.
Dome from Home is also proud to offer the OFYR experience of outdoor cooking. The circular wood fired BBQ is elegant, popular and easy to use as it “brings the party to the chef”. Many guests enjoy it so much they re-light it for an OFYR breakfast!
There are also plenty of options to eat out. Dome from Home is surrounded by charming villages with a great selection of local pubs and restaurants. A few of the menus can be found via “Food & drink” page of our website.
Embracing Nature and Outdoor Activities
Dome from Home is not just about luxurious accommodation. It is also about embracing the great outdoors with lots of options for walking nearby. Outdoor games are available, with a football goal and swing ball provided. There is also giant garden “Connect 4” and outdoor chess for those seeking less strenuous competition.
For the more adventurous, there are opportunities for quad biking, 4*4 treks with Avalanche Adventure and gliding at The Gliding Centre.
At Armourgeddon guests can even drive a tank and play tank paintball!
Our location in the countryside has very little light pollution. This provides a great opportunity for stargazing, as guests can sit back on the decking and enjoy an experience that is both magical and grounding.
Sustainable glamping
Dome from Home aims to achieve luxury without compromising our commitment to sustainability.
The construction and operation of our domes is designed to reduce the environmental impact. Each dome uses renewable solar energy and air source heat pumps to provide sustainable dome glamping.
We are fortunate to have the rich diversity of mammals, birds, and other wildlife at Dome from Home. We work hard to look after this place for them, our guests and for ourselves.
Naseby … the most important place you’ve never heard of…
There are many reasons to visit Dome from Home. Some guests come to discover the battlefield on our doorstep. Naseby is probably one of the most important battles to have been fought on British soil.
Lasting just two hours on the 14 June 1645, the Battle of Naseby was a devastating victory for the New Model Army commanded by Fairfax and Oliver Cromwell. It determined the fate of Charles I and secured the future of parliamentary democracy. The battle was a catalyst for religious freedom and arguably the birthplace of the British Army.
The battlefield is just a 15-minute walk from your dome. Visitors can join public tours with an expert guide from The Naseby Battlefield Project. Duncan is a Trustee of the Naseby Battlefield Project and is on hand to explain the key landmarks which can be easily seen during your stay at Dome from Home.
